Are you an experienced or aspiring pig vet looking for an exciting role with the flexibility to manage your own schedule? A well-established company are seeking a dedicated Pig Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with farming clients, providing top-tier care while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own diary.
About the Role:
Extensive travel to various farms across the region, supporting a range of pig farming clients
Focus on herd health management, disease prevention, treatment plans, and welfare improvement
Involvement in diagnostics, routine health checks, and emergency care
Strong emphasis on client communication and collaboration to enhance productivity and health outcomes
Flexibility to manage your own diary with a Monday-Friday schedule
Requirements:
Veterinary degree and RCVS registration
Previous experience or a keen interest in pig medicine is ideal (training can be provided)
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Full UK driving license is essential, as travel will be a large part of the role
