Are you a dedicated and compassionate veterinary professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting new opportunity to join a supportive and welcoming team at a well-established small animal practice in the vibrant city of St Albans.

This purpose-built clinic offers state-of-the-art facilities, including a fully equipped operating theatre, in-house Idexx lab machines, ultrasound, digital X-ray, endoscopy, and more. The role provides the opportunity to perform orthopaedic surgeries and deliver first-opinion care to a growing client base.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with solid experience in routine surgeries and consultations.
  • Passion: A genuine love for small animal care, with a drive to deliver the best possible treatment for patients.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional service.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude with a commitment to supporting and collaborating with colleagues.
About the Practice 
  • Team Environment: Work alongside a supportive team of 4.5 vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 VCAs, 2 receptionists, and a dedicated Practice Manager.
  • Convenient Location: Located at Abbey View Retail Park, with excellent transport links to the town centre, M1, and M25.
