We have an exciting new role with a multi vet team based in Middlesbrough.
  • Positive learning culture with a family feel where everyone in the team felt they could rely on each other.
  • Opportunity to develop your own clinical interests at our own pace
  • Joining an experienced nursing and non-clinical team and you will be supported by 3 vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, Practice manager and friendly reception team.
The Practice:
The diary is arranged so that vets have the time they need for reporting results, writing notes and to work up cases to the highest standard possible. They hold regular team meetings and 1 to 1s which gives all the colleagues the chance to have their say when it comes to practice protocols and their own progression.

The Team:
  • You will be supported by 3 vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, Practice manager and friendly reception team.
  • The team already have strong interests in exotics, soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology within the team and our busy and varied caseload will allow you to continue to build on this or follow your own clinical bias.
The ideal Vet:
  • This position would suit a vet with a few years of experience, happy with routine consults and surgeries, looking to progress a specific clinical interest or develop into a more senior role as our team continues to grow.
  • Due to the current support and the incredibly varied case load in practice we could accommodate either a surgical or consult bias.
Hours:
Ideally we are looking to work on a full time basis although would consider part time hours for the right candidate. There is also Saturdays shared on rota with TOIL an no Sundays or Bank Holidays.

In return, you’ll receive:

  • Competitive salary (up to £65,000 DOE)
  • Generous holiday allowance, including your birthday off
  • CPD support and funding
  • Pension scheme contributions
  • Private healthcare options
  • Covered memberships (RCVS, VDS, BVA, and one additional)
  • Relocation support if needed
  • Discounts on veterinary care and pet-related services
  • Access to additional staff perks and rewards
