Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a leading name in the Irish agricultural industry, which is seeking a Pig Veterinary Surgeon to join their established and well-respected team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most advanced and innovative animal feed and nutrition specialists in Ireland, supporting commercial swine farms with high welfare and production standards.
The Role
This position is based in the Midlands of Ireland, involving travel to client swine farms across the region. Prior pig experience is not required, so if you come from a farm veterinary background, this could be a great opportunity to transition into a specialist field with full support and training provided.
- Monday to Friday role (8-4 or 9-5)
- No OOH or bank holiday work
- Work closely with farm clients to improve herd health, production efficiency, and biosecurity
Who They’re Looking For
- A veterinary surgeon with strong clinical knowledge (previous pig experience not required)
- Someone with excellent communication skills to engage with farm clients
- A vet committed to high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity
- VCI registered or eligible to register
