Are you an experienced mixed vet looking for a role that offers true variety, career progression, and excellent clinical support? This well-established independent practice in Londonderry is seeking a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience to join their team.
This role can be tailored to suit your species preference, whether a true 50:50 mix of farm and small animal or a mixed role with a small animal bias.

The Role:

  • Work within a structured, dynamic team handling both 1st and 2nd opinion cases

  • Small animal caseload includes a high level of medicine, soft tissue, and orthopaedic surgery

  • Farm work ranges from herd health, fertility management, to consultancy services

  • Flexible mix of work to suit clinical interests and career goals

About You:

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1-2 years’ experience

  • Confident managing a mixed caseload, with support provided as needed

  • Strong interest in either true mixed practice or a small-animal-biased role

  • Keen to develop surgical, herd health, or diagnostic skills with structured career support

  • A team player with a proactive approach and excellent client communication skills

What’s on Offer?

  • Salary £35,000 – £60,000, depending on experience and leadership responsibilities

  • 6.6 weeks paid holiday, including bank holidays
