Up to €80,000 · 4-Day Week · No OOHs · Dublin-Based Practice
We’re working with a well-established, forward-thinking practice in Dublin that combines the best of both worlds — the stability and perks of a small corporate group, with the autonomy and team culture of an independent. They’re now looking for an experienced all-rounder vet to join the team — someone confident in surgery, and comfortable managing a variety of general practice cases.
This is a great opportunity for a vet who wants to step into a more senior, go-to clinical role without the added pressure of HR responsibilities or full-on leadership. If you enjoy mentoring others, being involved in surgery, and working up cases properly, this could be the perfect next step.
The Role:
- Full-time across 4 days
- No Sundays or OOHs
- 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9am–1pm
- Mixed days of consults and surgery – especially soft tissue, spays/neuters, mass removals, dentals
- 20-minute consults and scheduled admin time
- Option to mentor junior vets, support clinical standards, and help shape the day-to-day running of the practice
- 3-vet team supported by 3 RVNs, 1 ACA and 3 front-of-house staff
- Practice Director takes care of HR and non-clinical operations
- Modern and well-equipped: full surgical and dental facilities
- Growing caseload across GP, surgery, and dentistry
- Home to certificate holders and visiting specialists
- Clinical freedom, great rota, and a strong team culture
- A solid all-rounder vet who enjoys both consults and surgery
- Confident with routine soft tissue ops and dentals
- Bonus points for an interest in dentistry or imaging (but not a must)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience and VCI registered
- A team player who’s approachable, proactive, and supportive
- Up to €80,000 depending on experience
- 4-day week, no late evenings
- 6.6 weeks annual leave, including public holidays
- Generous CPD budget + CPD leave
- Support for further training or certificates
- 1 in 3 Saturdays only
- No out-of-hours work
- VCI & VDS covered
- Full uniform provided
- Supportive team and a practice that genuinely prioritises wellbeing and clinical development
