This role requires confidence in small animal practice, a client-focused approach, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures
- Provide outstanding client care with clear, empathetic communication and patient updates
- Maintain the highest standards of regulatory and operational compliance
- Prepare accurate treatment plans with clear cost estimates for clients
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager to drive commercial performance
- Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their skills and ensuring effective teamwork
- Inspire the team by sharing best practices and evolving clinical standards
- Manage clinical handovers and coordinate transfers for out-of-hours care
- Promote and support clinical excellence within the practice and wider community
Skills and Experience:
- Experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Demonstrated clinical leadership skills
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient and client care
- Strong understanding of how exceptional care enhances the client experience
- Experience fostering a progressive clinical culture
- Ability to drive commercial performance through effective clinical activity management
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills
- Proficient in coaching and influencing to maximise team potential
