We have an exciting opportunity that would suit an experienced veterinary surgeon looking for time in surgery to expand their skills and expereince.

A surgical bias would fit nicely, and any specialism will be supported.

About the Practice:

​You'll be joining a thriving, family owned practice located on the outskirts of Birmingham. They believe fully in a supportive and collaborative work environment.

They are recently refurbished, built to industry leading standard and has state of the art equipment which includes ultrasound, dental and digital x-ray. With a varied caseload and a great reputation with the client base continuing to grow.

About the Role:

Ideally you will be joining on a full time basis, 40 hours per week with no OOHs. Part time hours will also be considered for the right candidate.

You will be asked to be involved in a 1:3 Saturdays only, with no Sunday work.

By joining this team you will be part of a genuinely supportive team, who will help you to develop your skills. You will be working with 2 amazing partners, plus 4 Vets, 6 Nurses and 3 receptionists and 2 practice managers.

  • A stable team with some staff members having worked in practice for over 20 years

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 1.5 years expereince post graduation is ideal, with a bias for surgery. However all areas will be supported.

  • You will need to be a proactive veterinary surgeon with exceptional communication skills

  • Good surgical and medical skills

  • Genuine enthusiasm and passion for your work

  • Must be RCVS registered or eligible
