The Role:

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week over four days, with a 1 in 8 weekend rota (two days off in lieu after weekend work). Minimal on-call duties, thanks to a dedicated on-site ECC team.​

  • Duties: A balanced mix of consultations and surgical procedures, with a focus on developing surgical expertise.​

  • Collaboration: Work primarily at a well-equipped hospital, with occasional rotations through consulting-only branches, engaging in case discussions and teamwork to support professional growth.​

  • Additional Opportunities: Involvement in mentoring, sustainability initiatives, and social event planning.​

Requirements:

  • MRCVS status.​
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.​
  • Effective team player with good organizational skills.​
  • A Surgical Certificate (or working towards one) is desirable but not essential.​
