An established and popular veterinary clinic in Tooting is looking for an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join the team for two days per week. Located in one of the world's "coolest neighbourhoods," this practice offers a fantastic work environment with a friendly, supportive team.

What’s on Offer?

  • Salary: £24,480 – £31,552 for a 21.76-hour weekly role (inclusive of weekend rotation), equivalent to £45,000 – £58,000 FTE, depending on experience.

  • Additional shifts in the region can be explored if you’re looking for more hours.

  • No on-call requirements for this role.

About the Role:

Tooting is a thriving and well-connected area, making it a great place to work. The clinic has been a trusted part of the local community for many years, known for delivering high standards of patient and client care.

The practice is fully equipped with excellent on-site facilities, including ultrasound, and benefits from a close-knit and supportive team, ensuring a positive working environment.

The Team:

You’ll be supported by a highly experienced team, including:

  • A Senior RVN, part-time RVN, and trainee nurses

  • A dedicated regional manager and regional head vet with a wealth of knowledge to support your development

  • Additional support from Stone Lion 24-hour hospital in Wimbledon, which has its own night team to assist with challenging cases

Working Pattern:

  • 2 days per week (8:30 am – 6:30 pm shifts), with one day overlapping with a senior vet

  • 1:3 branch Saturday morning rotation

  • 1:20 Sunday rotation at Stone Lion Hospital

  • 1 bank holiday per year

The ideal candidate will be confident in general practice, comfortable with routine surgeries, and enjoy working as part of a small, passionate team.
