Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice who are excited to offer a position for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team, working across their three locations in Blackburn, Clayton-le-Moors, and Whalley.
Role Overview:
In this role, you'll handle a variety of tasks including consultations, surgery, and patient care. There will be some sole charge responsibilities, providing a diverse and engaging work experience.
Flexible Working:
Typically, their full-time vets work four days a week with one day off and participate in a Saturday rota (1:4/5 Saturdays) with a day off in lieu. They do not have out-of-hours or bank holiday duties, and we're open to discussing part-time hours to suit your needs.
About them:
This is a first-opinion small animal veterinary group with three well-equipped sites. They have all the essential facilities, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, and an in-house blood machine. Located in Blackburn, you'll have access to local amenities, fitness clubs, and excellent transport links to Manchester and Liverpool. For those who enjoy nature, the stunning Lake District is just a short drive away.
Their team consists of 5 vets, 1 Clinical Director, 9 nurses, 1 VCA, 7 receptionists, and 1 Practice Manager. They are a supportive and friendly team, many of whom have been with them for years.
Salary:
Up to £65,000 DOE
