​One of our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Day Veterinary Surgeon within their hospital. This role is perfect for a passionate veterinary professional looking to elevate their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Position Overview:

  • Role: Day Veterinary Surgeon (Inpatient, ECC, Surgical Interest)

  • Location: Leeds

  • Salary: Dependent on experience

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, with a 4-day work week (Monday to Friday)

  • Weekend Requirement: 1 in 4 weekends (10-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, primarily focused on emergency care, with no sole charge)

Shifts Include:

  • 1 Surgical Shift: General practice surgeries

  • 1 Consulting Shift: 30-minute sick pet consultations

  • 2 Late Inpatient Shifts: Inpatient care, emergency transfers, ECC procedures/surgery, and sick pet emergencies

Development Opportunities:

  • Benefit from a £1,500 annual CPD allowance to further professional growth.

  • Work alongside a dedicated team of in-house certificate holders in surgery, medicine, and dentistry for continued support.

Inpatient & ECC Team Handles:

  • A wide variety of cases, including caesareans, pyometra, exploratory surgeries, and severe medical conditions such as Addison's disease and pancreatitis.
