Looking for a well-rounded GP role that offers hospital exposure, a varied caseload, and a supportive team? This independent, family-run hospital in Norfolk is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team.

What’s on offer?

  • A 4-day working week, 9-hour shifts, and a protected, paid lunch hour.
  • 1:9 week of nights, with the following week off—plus a £5k annual night allowance.
  • 1:5 weekends (Saturday & Sunday only).
  • A mix of consulting and surgery days, with exposure to hospital-level cases.
  • Option to work across both the main hospital and a nearby branch, or be based at one site.
  • 20-minute consults with scheduled admin time.
  • A team of 14-15 vets, including several with surgical certificates—so a vet with an interest in medicine, ophthalmology, or cardiology would be an excellent fit.
  • Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Accommodation & Relocation

  • Rent-free shared accommodation for the first 6 months, then the option to stay on or take a £3k relocation allowance instead.
  • The accommodation is a beautiful house in a great setting.

The team is flexible with the rota to ensure work-life balance and understands that one size doesn’t fit all.

Location:
Located in West Norfolk, the clinic is in a charming and well-connected market town that offers a great work-life balance. With direct trains to London in under 1.5 hours, it’s a fantastic option for those who want a peaceful, affordable place to live while staying well-connected.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of UK experience required.

If you’re looking for a supportive team, varied caseload, and hospital-level exposure, this could be the perfect next step. Apply now for a confidential chat with Sophie or send an email to Sophie!
