A Fantastic Opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to Join a Well-Established and Supportive Group of Practices in Cambridge!

Hours: 4 x 9-hour days per week plus 1 in 4 weekends. Part-time hours also considered.

This is an exciting opportunity for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join a fantastic group of practices in Cambridge. The role offers a great mix of consultations and surgeries across multiple sites, including a state-of-the-art hospital.

 Each site is equipped for routine surgeries and consultations, with one clinic housing a purpose-built rehabilitation centre offering hydrotherapy, laser therapy, and other treatments.
The role is flexible, with the opportunity to split your time between the various sites, giving you great variety. You will need to be comfortable working both as part of a multi-vet team and in sole charge. There are also options for consulting-only roles and flexible working patterns.
The practice team is highly supportive and committed to providing excellent care for clients and their pets. Many of the clinical staff hold advanced certificates in medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, and diagnostic imaging, with advanced practitioners in both medicine and surgery. Professional development is strongly encouraged, and there are plenty of opportunities for further qualifications.

Salary: Up to £65k FTE (Depending on Experience)

About the Practice:
This well-established, busy 24-hour first-opinion small animal practice offers gold standard veterinary care and is fully equipped with the latest technology, including digital radiography, ultrasound (with a cardiac probe and Doppler), video-endoscopy, and multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring. The practice also features a newly opened wing with a state-of-the-art operating theatre, treatment rooms, and a spacious cat ward.

The team is friendly, experienced, and supportive, with many long-term staff members.
