Are you a veterinary surgeon looking to join a supportive, forward-thinking practice that prioritizes excellent care for both patients and team members? This opportunity, with a competitive salary range based on experience, might be the perfect fit for you.
Why Join This Practice?
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy structured schedules with 15-minute consults, regular admin and catch-up breaks, and an hour for lunch. Morning and evening consults are designed to help you finish on time. If overtime occurs, it’s paid – ensuring you're compensated for any extra time.
  • Team-Oriented Environment: Daily team meetings encourage open communication and foster a collaborative atmosphere where every voice is valued.
  • Flexibility: Open to full or part-time applicants, consulting-only roles, and flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle.
  • Clinical Standards: An RCVS-accredited General Practice and Approved Graduate Development Practice, they uphold high standards and offer clinical freedom.
The Team:
The practice boasts an experienced team of 4 vets (including a certificate holder in Small Animal Surgery and Dentistry), 4 RVNs, and 1 SVN. Their focus is on teamwork, development, and ensuring everyone feels supported in their role.
Facilities and Equipment:
The practice is well-equipped with:
  • Digital x-ray and ultrasound (with Doppler and ECG capabilities)
  • Electrocautery, suction, Hot Dog patient warming, and tonometer
  • Separate cat, dog, and isolation wards
  • Dedicated consulting rooms, theatre, and prep area
Role and Rota:
  • Full-time vets work a 4- or 5-day week (your preference) with a 1:3 Saturday rota.
  • No OOH or inpatient care responsibilities, covered by Vets Now.
  • £1,500 CPD budget with 35 paid hours (pro rata for part-time), and certificate funding is available.
Who They're Looking For:
This role is ideal for someone who shares the practice’s values and commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. Whether you're a new graduate, returning after a career break, or a seasoned vet, the team is ready to support you. Consulting-only roles are also an option.

If you’re passionate, proactive, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is your chance to work in a practice that truly values its team and their well-being.
