Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Veterinary Oncologist
Role Overview
Due to the expansion of a busy oncology service, a leading veterinary hospital is looking for an additional Medical Oncologist to join their cancer treatment team.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
The brand-new hospital, opened in October 2023, features an Elekta 6MV linear accelerator (capable of IMRT and stereotactic treatments), dedicated oncology procedure and treatment rooms, an interventional radiology suite, and a nurse-led chemotherapy clinic.
Supportive Team Environment
The current medical oncology team includes two specialists, two ECVIM-CA residents, one intern, and two oncology RVNs (soon to be three). The practice has excellent support from soft tissue and maxillofacial surgeons, and radiation planning is handled remotely by a board-certified specialist. Radiation treatments are performed by dedicated therapeutic radiographers.
Location
Based just north of Bristol, the hospital is ideally located at the junctions of the M4 and M5 motorways, with excellent travel links to Wales, the Southwest, Central, and Southern England. The area offers a blend of city and country living, making it a fantastic place to work and enjoy a great quality of life.

We prioritize work-life balance, with full-time specialists typically working a 4-day week. Part-time and flexible working options are also available. A split role between clinic duties and telemedicine service can be considered. A highly competitive remuneration package is offered for the right candidate.
