Registered Veterinary Nurse - Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a growing, dynamic team at a well-established veterinary practice in the Bristol area. This is an exciting opportunity for an RVN looking to join a team that is committed to delivering exceptional care and service to both patients and clients.

The Role

As an integral part of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a group of passionate professionals who are dedicated to providing the highest level of care. The role offers a varied caseload, so no two days will be the same! You will be responsible for nursing consultations, assisting with procedures, and providing post-operative care. You’ll have the chance to work with experienced vets and nurses and contribute to the overall well-being of the animals in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the veterinary team with surgeries, procedures, and consultations

  • Deliver excellent patient care, from admission to discharge

  • Conduct nurse-led appointments and provide education to pet owners

  • Monitor anaesthesia and recovery for a range of procedures

  • Support the clinical team to maintain the smooth operation of the practice

  • Help maintain excellent communication within the team and with clients

Shift Pattern:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • 1 in 4 weekends 

What We Are Looking For:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional care and supporting team development

  • Previous experience in a busy veterinary environment is preferred, but not essential

  • A desire for continuous professional development and learning
