We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join a great team based near Birmingham. This opportunity offers a competitive salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience, along with the possibility of a welcome bonus of up to £2,500.
Duties:
You will be responsible for a mix of surgical procedures and consultations in a general practice setting. The clinic operates with a well-structured diary, including 15-minute consults in both morning and evening sessions, dedicated time for surgical procedures, and slots for prescription checks and result reporting. The practice maintains a balanced schedule, including a closed lunch break, to ensure a smooth and caring environment for both the team and clients.

The rota includes Saturday shifts on a rotational basis, currently set at 1 in 3 Saturdays, with no out-of-hours responsibilities.

The Team:
The veterinary team is comprised of experienced Vets with interests and certifications in surgery, medicine, and ophthalmology. The clinic also boasts cert holders in surgery, exotics, and imaging. The team includes a good ratio of Registered Veterinary Nurses, many of whom hold certifications in ECC, anaesthesia, Feline Nursing, and behavior.
