Our client who we are delighted to be working with a practice who are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their well established, friendly mixed veterinary practice.
They have an experienced, hardworking, compassionate, supportive team of RVNs who work to a very high standard. They work alongside a team of 10 dedicated, knowledgeable Veterinary Surgeons with four certificates in specialist areas.
The practice is modern with well-equipped facilities and equipment. Nursing duties are predominantly small animal & they carry out regular referral work in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery.
They are an approved training practice, an RCVS accredited practice and a feline friendly practice with a dedicated cat ward and waiting area. On site they have their Animal Rehabilitation Centre (ARC). The ARC offers physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy. The role offers a good variety of nursing duties including theatre nursing, inpatient care, nurse consultations, lab work, radiography, and dental care.
Salary:
£25,000-£28,000 per annum (full time)
Benefits:
Full or part-time position considered.
Out of hours – Currently 1 in 5 Saturday’s & 1 night a week on-call. On call retainer paid plus overtime for call outs
6 weeks holiday (including bank holidays) plus opportunity to buy or sell extra days.
Pension Scheme
CPD allowance – 3 days / £600 per annum (pro rata for part time)
RCVS & VDS fees covered
