This vibrant practice offers a wide range of veterinary services to a local community of over 60,000 people, and they are looking for a confident, motivated RVN to provide high-quality care while developing your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
About the Practice
The practice is fully equipped with modern, state-of-the-art facilities, including CT, hydrotherapy, in-house laboratory, bespoke dental room, DR and CT x-ray machines, digital endoscopy, and ultrasonography. They pride themselves on maintaining a collaborative, welcoming atmosphere where all team members are encouraged to contribute their ideas and personal interests.
The team is made up of 40 dedicated staff members, including veterinary surgeons with postgraduate qualifications in surgery and equine dentistry. As a Veterinary Nurse Training Centre, they offer great opportunities for ongoing professional development. The practice also has a fantastic work-life balance, with sociable team activities, including BBQs, Christmas parties, and regular dinners.
About the Role
This full-time role offers a varied caseload with the opportunity to specialise in areas like nurse clinics, theatre, medicine, or intensive care. You will be part of an experienced and friendly team that prioritises delivering the highest standards of care.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Full-time hours: 40 hours per week, including 1:3 Saturdays
- Option for night shifts (can be discussed at interview)
- On-call rota with retainer fee and hourly rate for overnight shifts (subject to cover by night nurses)
- Opportunity to develop and grow within the practice
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive salary starting from £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
