Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and caring Small Animal Vet to join their growing team on a 1 year fixed term contract, starting July 2024. There may be potential for this role to become permanent, or transfer to another practice at the end of the FTC.
About them:
Their service complements their fantastic day team. You will help provide the out of hours service for a number of local first opinion member practices in the area.
They pride themselves on high standards of care and are looking for someone who is passionate about working to these same values. They are a fully equipped RCVS approved Veterinary Hospital.
You will enjoy working with an energetic, motivated and experienced team of fellow Vets, Nurses and Support Staff providing triage and intensive care at an excellent standard to a variety of interesting cases involving both emergency patients and in-patients
Applicant requirements: This position would suit an experienced small animal vet, preferably with a minimum of 2+ years' experience, who is capable and confident of working sole charge alongside a small clinical team. You will have surgical experience in routine and emergency procedures and possess good communication skills. You will have a team player mentality and a passion to deliver excellent care and client service.
Working Hours:
7 nights on, 14 nights off. In this role, you will be required to work a share of weekend day shifts 7.30am - 7.30pm (1 in 6) and Bank Holiday day shifts.
Salary:
Up to £60k pro Rata DOE
