Looking for a predominantly small animal role that still gives you a bit of variety? This one could strike the perfect balance.
We're working with a friendly and well-established practice in a scenic part of Scotland that's offering a small animal-biased role (around 90%) with just a light touch of farm and equine at one branch. It’s ideal for someone who wants to keep their hand in mixed without being on the road full-time or tied to large animal call-outs.

Primarily small animal caseload – approx. 90% SA, 10% farm/equine
-
Flexible rota with TOIL for any out-of-hours
-
Full-time preferred but part-time happily considered
-
A team that’s down-to-earth, collaborative, and supportive
The Package
-
Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
-
6.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays
-
£1,750 CPD allowance with full support for further training
-
RCVS, VDS and two extra memberships paid
-
Enhanced parental leave and vet fee discounts
-
Annual pay reviews, My Perks platform, cycle to work scheme, sick pay
The Practice
RCVS-accredited with two sites, this is a progressive, client-focused team that values clinical freedom and case continuity. You’ll have the space to build relationships with clients and work cases up properly, with modern facilities and a supportive nursing team behind you.
The location offers the best of both worlds – close to coastal towns and green spaces, with easy links to city life and international travel.
Who It’s For
Perfect for a small animal vet who enjoys the occasional dip into mixed work, or a mixed vet looking to lean more into SA. Whether you’re still building confidence or ready to grow into a more senior role, there’s genuine support and flexibility here.
