Salary: £85,000 - £90,000, DOE

Are you a certified vet looking for a leadership role with advanced facilities, a supportive team, and a diverse caseload?

We’re thrilled to connect with experienced vets ready to step up as a Lead Vet in one of London’s newest and most forward-thinking clinic. This client is setting the standard for modern, high-quality veterinary care, combining the latest technology with a premium, compassionate approach to client and team experience. Ideal for those passionate about continuous improvement, this role offers an opportunity to lead, influence, and grow within a dynamic setting.

About the Role:
As Lead Vet, you’ll join a select team in a purpose-built clinic, each equipped to exceed RCVS standards. Here’s what you can expect:

  • State-of-the-art facilities including advanced imaging, dental, and surgical suites, with plans to add CT and MRI capabilities.

  • Modern, welcoming consult rooms tailored for efficient client flow and optimal patient care, including dedicated feline spaces.

  • A communal, cozy staff area that fosters team connection and well-being.

About the Clinic:
Compact yet exceptionally well-equipped, these clinics are tailored for the London setting but feature all the essentials to manage complex cases on-site. With top-tier equipment and a broad caseload, our goal is to minimize referrals and allow vets to handle a wide range of cases, giving you ample opportunities to build on your expertise in both routine and complex procedures.

Why Join Us?

  • Salary Range: £85,000 - £90,000, with opportunities for growth.

  • Innovative Environment: Clinics exceed RCVS standards and prioritize both care quality and team support.

  • Career Development: A fantastic setting for professional growth, with full support for specialization and additional certifications.

  • Premium Clientele: A diverse, high-expectation client base that values excellent, compassionate care.

What We’re Looking For:
This role is designed for a confident, client-focused vet with leadership potential who thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment. You’ll succeed here if you:

  • Hold a veterinary certification (such as Vet GDP) with confidence in all soft tissue surgeries and some exposure to orthopedics.

  • Are driven to deliver outstanding pet care with excellent client communication.

  • Have a passion for mentorship, team culture, and supporting junior team members in their growth.

Your Clinical Background:
We’re looking for a vet experienced in first-opinion consults, confident in soft tissue surgery, and with some orthopaedic exposure. Ideally, you hold a veterinary certificate and have a desire to further specialize or deepen your skills within a supportive, well-resourced setting.

Additional Benefits:

  • 6.6 weeks of leave per year (inclusive of public holidays)

  • Enhanced parental and bereavement leave

  • Enhanced Statutory Sick Pay

  • Pension contributions and private medical insurance

  • 15% discount for pet care for friends and family

  • VDS, RCVS, and BVA membership

  • £1,500 annual CPD allowance with 3 days’ paid leave—and more!
