A well-established veterinary clinic is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to take charge of their team and clinic operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced vet to combine clinical expertise with leadership and management responsibilities in a highly supportive environment.
About the Role
The Lead Veterinary Surgeon will oversee clinical standards, team development, and operational performance, ensuring exceptional patient care and client service. Working closely with senior management, you’ll have the autonomy to drive clinic success while delivering outstanding veterinary care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of vets, nurses, and support staff.
- Maintain and promote high clinical standards and compliance.
- Oversee operational targets, including financial and performance metrics.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaged clinic culture.
About You
- MVB with at least 3 years’ experience post-qualification.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication abilities.
- Must have VCI registration
