Lead Veterinary Nurse – Dublin
Full-Time | 4-Day Week | Supportive Team | Opportunity for Long-Term Progression

We’re working with a well-established, independent-minded veterinary clinic in the Dublin area to find an experienced, enthusiastic Lead Veterinary Nurse to join their warm and collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership role, guiding a close-knit nursing team and helping to shape the future of the practice.

The clinic has built a trusted reputation over the past 25 years for delivering high-quality, compassionate care in the local community. With a loyal client base, a team of experienced vets and nurses, and a down-to-earth, friendly work environment, this is the kind of place where people genuinely enjoy coming to work each day. If you're the kind of person who thrives in a team that shares the workload, supports one another, and enjoys the odd coffee run or a bit of a laugh between consults, you'll feel right at home here.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading a team of qualified and passionate nurses

  • Working closely with clinical leadership on patient care standards and team development

  • Balancing hands-on nursing with administrative and leadership duties

  • Contributing to the clinic’s culture of support, kindness, and clinical excellence

The role at a glance:

  • 40-hour week across 4 days

  • 1 in 4 weekends (or Bank Holidays)

  • Mix of clinical and leadership hours

  • Competitive salary depending on experience

What’s on offer:

  • Generous CPD allowance per annum

  • Discounted veterinary care

  • Annual pay reviews

  • Wellbeing support and a genuinely supportive culture

  • Career development opportunities

  • A summer freezer stocked with ice cream!

What we're looking for:

  • A qualified Veterinary Nurse with leadership potential or experience

  • Someone organised, approachable and committed to high standards of patient care

  • A team player who thrives in a friendly and collaborative environment

Whether you're an experienced nurse looking to take the next step, or already in a senior role and seeking a new challenge in a positive, people-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
