About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

As the Lead Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of the nursing team, promoting high clinical standards, and supporting the growth of the practice. You will work closely with the Clinical Nursing Manager and other lead nurses to manage your team, oversee patient care, and ensure smooth daily operations across the clinics. While the role is largely clinical, you will also be involved in administrative duties and share responsibility for the on-call rota.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the nursing team, maintaining a high level of care and clinical standards.
  • Ensure effective infection control practices and maintain a high standard of hygiene across the team.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Nursing Manager and other team leads to achieve business goals.
  • Manage patient care with a focus on quality, ensuring client satisfaction and efficient team workflows.
  • 95% of the role will focus on clinical nursing duties, with a small portion dedicated to administrative tasks.

Working Pattern

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a shared on-call rota.
  • 1 in 5 weekends required, with time off in lieu.
