About the Role
As the Lead Education Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the professional development of the nursing team, working closely with the Clinical Nursing Manager to identify and address training needs. This hybrid position blends clinical and leadership responsibilities, offering you the chance to lead by example on the clinic floor while dedicating time to mentoring, coaching, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the training and development of the nursing team, including CPD oversight and induction of new staff.
- Managing and supporting clinical supervisors and student nurses to ensure compliance with educational and professional standards.
- Ensuring the nursing team is fully equipped to perform to the highest clinical standards.
- Fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
Working Pattern
- Full-time: 42 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis.
- Part-time options available based on experience.
Salary
Up to over £37,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Pro-rata for part-time roles.
