Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who is seeking a passionate and experienced RVN to step into a Lead Education Nurse role, supporting the growth and development of their talented nursing team.

About the Role:

As Lead Education Nurse, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Nursing Manager to provide leadership and training for our team. You’ll identify development needs, manage CPD opportunities, and ensure SVNs and PCAs are fully supported in their education. This role combines clinical responsibilities with protected time for leadership and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee team learning and development using skills matrices and CPD opportunities.

  • Support new nurses, SVNs, and PCAs through inductions and training agreements.

  • Manage Training Practice (TP) approval and ongoing audits.

  • Ensure compliance with RCVS standards and effective use of pre-registration placements.

Hours:

Full-time (42 hours/week, including weekends)

About You:

They’re looking for a confident RVN with 2+ years of post-qualification experience, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a passion for mentoring and education. Previous experience as a Clinical Supervisor or mentor is a bonus.
