Our client who we are thrilled to be working with have the perfect opportunity for a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
About You and the Role:
They're looking for an experienced vet confident in routine surgical and medical cases. An interest in orthopedics and strong exotics experience is a plus, as they handle a high caseload of exotics. You’ll lead a team of 5 vets, providing clinical support and managing daily operations. This full-time position is 40 hours per week with no OOHs, making it ideal for someone looking to balance work and life.
About them:
Join a supportive team led by Partners, working alongside 5 vets, 5 nurses, and 2 animal care assistants. Their modern, spacious practice has the state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, in-house lab, and ultrasound. They’re easily accessible by train, near the M1, and just 40 minutes from East Midlands and Birmingham airports.
Salary:
Starting salary from £70,000 (dependent on experience)
What they offer:
4.6 weeks annual holiday, increasing to 5.6 weeks after 2 years, plus your birthday off
£1,500 CPD allowance
RCVS/VDS fees paid
No sole charge or out-of-hours work
