Head Nurse - Doncaster - Salary from £32,000

Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to take on a leadership role? We are currently working with a reputable and well-established veterinary practice in Doncaster who are seeking a Head Nurse to lead their passionate and dedicated nursing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong clinical experience, who enjoys mentoring and developing others while maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency. The practice offers a collaborative and supportive environment, ideal for a nurse looking to progress their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of RVNs, students, and VCAs to ensure the highest standard of clinical care.

  • Mentor and support the professional development of your team, ensuring they feel valued and confident in their roles.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to clinical and operational standards.

  • Ensure high standards of care for patients and excellent customer service.

  • Take part in strategic planning and decision-making processes to improve the practice's performance.

About You:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with substantial clinical experience.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is desirable, but not essential.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Self-motivated, confident, and passionate about improving patient care and team performance.

  • Willingness to take part in internal leadership training and development programs.

The Package:

  • Starting salary from £32,000 (dependent on experience).
