Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days, 1:5 weekend rota, and 1:5 weeknights on-call (with time off in lieu). Work vehicle provided for business use.

We are seeking a dedicated and driven Farm Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice in Staffordshire. About the Role:
In this position, you will be part of a team of farm vets, ATTs, and lay staff, working together to enhance and develop services for a wide range of farming clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Routine herd fertility visits (with lay staff support for data recording)
- Bull fertility testing
- TB testing
- Herd health planning
- 24-hour emergency care
- Disease outbreak investigations
- Herd performance analysis
The role also offers opportunities to work with beef herds, sheep flocks, and occasionally with camelids, goats, and pigs if that aligns with your interests.

This practice has a rich 80-year history serving the local community and operates across Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Shropshire. The farm department is well-equipped with tools such as:
- Interherd Plus fertility software
- TB Master
- Rectal scanners
- Bull and ram fertility testing kits
- Automatic faecal egg counter
- In-house lab for blood and colostrum testing
- Farm offices, pharmacy, and a farm health shop
