Our client who we are pleased to be working with is seeking a Farm/Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. They provide exceptional care to a variety of animals, primarily focusing on ambulatory work, so a valid driving license is essential.
About them:
Their purpose-built facility near Ely features hospitalization and surgical facilities for equines and farm animals. Their team includes 9 Veterinary Surgeons (2 with certificates), 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 5 support staff. They engage with local charities and community events.
Their diverse caseload includes equines and farm animals, from smallholders with pigs and alpacas to large commercial beef farms. They also occasionally handle zoo work, offering unique experiences like dentistry on camels. Your duties will include routine health checks, surgeries for broken limbs and caesareans, and collaboration with an equine referral clinic for specialized cases.
Work-Life Balance:
They prioritize your well-being with flexible working patterns, including 40 hours per week over 4 days and 1 in 4 weekends on call.
Salary:
Up to £60,000, depending on experience.
