The team includes certificate-holding vets, skilled RVNs, highly trained VCAs, and a fully committed customer care team—so you can focus entirely on utilising your hard-earned nursing skills.

About the Role

As Deputy Head RVN, you’ll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth workflows and exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the clinical floor and liaising with senior management.
  • Planning and implementing strategies for team performance and growth.
  • Leading and supporting the development of RVNs and VCAs.
  • Managing the rota and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.

This role is perfect for a confident RVN with strong clinical skills, the ability to manage emergency situations, and a genuine passion for optimising patient care. Your excellent communication and teamwork abilities will make you a key pillar of the practice’s success.

Working Pattern

  • A 4-day workweek with a 1:4 weekend rotation.
  • Time off in lieu (TOIL) for weekends worked.
