Do you have a passion for canine welfare, breeding, and puppy development? We’re looking for a Breeding Programme Assistant to play a key role in the care and management of future assistance dogs.
This hands-on role involves monitoring breeding dogs, supporting whelpings, and ensuring the best possible start for puppies who will go on to transform lives. You’ll also work closely with volunteers, providing training and guidance to ensure high welfare standards across the programme.
What You’ll Be Doing:
🐶 Assisting with matings, whelpings, and early puppy socialisation
🐾 Monitoring the health and well-being of breeding dogs and litters
🚗 Transporting dogs to veterinary appointments and new placements
👥 Recruiting, training, and supporting dedicated breeding volunteers
📊 Recording key data to improve breeding outcomes and welfare
