We at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity that has arisen at their busy animal practice for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and welcoming team on a fixed term contract!

You will be joining a long established animal practice which is still growing year on year with a supportive team that includes 4 Vets, 3 RVNs, 3 SVN, 1 VCAs, a Practice Manager and 6 Receptionists.
Their new team member will be supported, and in turn support other members, promoting wellbeing and a positive work environment.
Their practice is built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment which includes In-house lab, digital X-ray, ultrasound and multi-parameter. They see a variety of cases and have built a loyal client base within their fantastic local community.
Who they are looking:
They’re looking for a vet that’s used to the day-to-day procedures of a small animal practice and happy with the routine surgeries. You should demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and be an effective team player, have a systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation. They are looking for a friendly, down-to-earth Surgeon, who has a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoys the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.
Working pattern:
This is a part time position, 32 hours per week based on 3 full days (Weds, Thurs and Fri) with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis and no OOH. Shorter hours will be considered.

Salary between 40K and 55k FTE depending on experience
