Veterinary Surgeon-Up to £70,000 salary (DOE) 

The Role: 

Established modern Practice is actively seeking a dedicated small animal vet surgeon to join their team in Invergordon. The caseload covers a spectrum of cases, including ultrasounds, x-rays, blood workups, and even exotic work with reptiles, amphibians, and snakes. The practice strongly supports vets interested in obtaining certificates, offering full funding for further education and specialisation in surgery and/or medicine.  

Working Hours: 

·         Ideally up to 40 hours per week across 4/4.5 days between Monday-Friday

·         No Out of Hours (OOH)

·         1:4 Saturday mornings (included within your 40-hour week)

·         Flexibility for part-time applications and job shares to accommodate work-life balance 

Salary & Benefits: 

·         Up to £70,000 negotiable D.O.E.

·         Relocation allowance of up to £5,000

·         Welcome bonus up to £5,000

·         Located just north of Inverness, offers a rich Pictish history amidst the stunning Highland setting.

·         The practice is an integral part of the local community, conveniently located 1 hour away from Inverness Airport and 25 minutes from the City of Inverness.

·         The team comprises 6 Vets, 7 Nurses, each with their own lines of interest, contributing to a supportive and collaborative environment.

·         The team actively participates in local agricultural shows and dog shows, fostering a sense of community engagement. 

Applicant Requirements: 

·         The role is open to both experienced vet surgeons and new graduates, as full support will be provided.

·         All applicants must be RCVS registered.
