Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice that is looking for a vet who thrives with being part of the community and is the “go to” vet for their beloved pets.

About the role:
In this GP first option role you will be conducting morning consultations, performing any routine surgeries during the day, then rounding up with evening consults.
In addition, you will be supported by a dedicated regional manager, and regional head vet to help you with any areas of clinical support you may need.
There is state of the art diagnostic support at the hospital with a new CT scanner, a diploma holder in imaging providing their CT and ultrasound service, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.

Working pattern:
This is a full-time 4-day week sole charge position, although they would be happy to explore part-time options.
Your full-time 40 hours are inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation, in addition to 2 bank holidays per year with time off in lieu.

Salary:
The salary band for this 40 hourly week role inclusive of weekend rotation is £57,000 to £73,000 depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role.
