Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be wokring with a practice who are looking for an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join their amazing team! The role will include both consulting and surgery blocks (along with ample admin time,) with no on-call duties. They are looking for a forward-thinking Vet who really enjoys being part of a busy and supportive team and would actively support you in pursuing a certificate.

An interest in exotics would be ideal but this is not essential. Most importantly they want someone who will be able to communicate with and involve clients in providing the best possible care for their pet.


Rota:

The role on offer is part-time, based on 26 hours per week to include shifts on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with 2 Saturday morning shifts on a 5-week rota. They can of course be flexible for the right applicant.

This group is a 2 centre, long established and highly respected practice, which absolutely prides itself on providing colleagues with a supportive and friendly environment where they can offer the highest standard of care to their wonderful clients and their pets.

They are a true general practice and have the support of many excellent local referral centres whenever necessary.

Among the veterinary team they have 3 certificate holders - 2 cert AVM SAMs and 1 exotic, they have a wonderful nursing team consisting of 8 RVNs and 4 SVNs.

Salary:

​Salary up to £70,000 DOE plus a relocation allowance up to £2,000
