We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a practice who are seeking a passionate and committed Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. They strive to provide their team with a varied working day. Your duties will include consultations, surgeries, client callbacks, prescriptions, in-patient care, workups, and occasional house visits.
Rota:
They are hoping their new Vet can work 4 weekdays, shifts between 8:45 am – 7:00 pm and a Saturday morning, shifts between 8:45 am-12:30 pm on a roster, currently 1:3. There are no out-of-hours or bank holiday duties. They can offer some flexibility in shifts or days and are open to discussion.
About the practice:
They are a local but busy practice. They have digital x-ray, ultrasound, a dedicated theatre suite and separate kennels and cattery. They opened in 2009 and have grown rapidly through recommendations from clients. They have a strong team of experienced vets and nurses and a forward-thinking Practice Manager.
They currently have 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 1 who is a Cardiology certificate holder, a Head Nurse who leads their nursing team of 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 1 Student Veterinary Nurse. They also have a great Support team of 2 and a Practice Manager.
Salary:
Salary of up to £75,000 per annum depending on experience plus a £2000 Welcome Bonus and £5000 Relocation Allowance
