Position: Small Animal Vet- Medical Bias

Location: Failsworth, Manchester

Salary: Salary range £48k to £69K (DOE)

Facility: Modern Practice/ Experienced Team of Vets 

Lloyd & Cowan is delighted to be representing a Modern Practice (Non-Profit) based in Failsworth, Manchester who are actively recruiting a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon with a medical bias is sought to join the vibrant team. This role is ideal for a Vet who excels in medical diagnostics and client care and is eager to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse range of cases.

Responsibilities:

·         Deliver high-quality veterinary care focused on medical cases, ensuring accurate diagnostics and effective treatment plans.

·         Utilise state-of-the-art facilities, including three theatres, an X-ray and dental suite, and well-equipped consulting rooms, to provide exceptional care.

·         Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients, particularly during stressful situations, ensuring they are well-informed about their pets' conditions and treatment options.

·         Collaborate with a skilled team of Veterinary Surgeons and support staff, benefiting from a network of certificate holders in various specialties.

·         Contribute to maintaining a calm and stress-free environment in the separate dog and cat wards.

Skills and Qualifications:

·         Qualified Veterinary Surgeon, registered with the RCVS.

·         Strong clinical skills with a medical bias; additional certification in diagnostic imaging or small animal medicine is highly desirable.

·         Excellent communication skills, capable of handling sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.

·         A passion for continuous learning and development in veterinary medicine.

Salary & Benefits:

·         4-day week, with part-time roles and flexible working patterns available.

·         Weekends: Only 2 in 9 Saturdays required.
