Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are thrilled to be working with a practice who are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
About them:
They are a proactive, progressive farm practice with a stimulating blend of dairy, beef, sheep and smallholder work (plus sporadic pig, poultry, camelid and gamebird work).
This is a large mixed practice with dedicated Small Animal, Farm and Equine departments. They are at present located in Lewes, East Sussex just 10 miles from Brighton.
They have 8 farm veterinary surgeons, who are ably supported by 3 ATTs, 3 administration staff and a dispensary team. They encourage Certificates and at present have a Cert CHP, a CertAVP, and a further CertAVP in progress.
Working rota:
The successful candidate should have a minimum of three years’ experience in practice and will work 8-hour shifts across 5 days a week, with on-call nights and weekends equally shared. At present this is 1 in 7.
Salary:
Up to £70k depending on experience plus £5000 Welcome Bonus
