​We at Lloyd & Cowan are thrilled to be working with a practice who are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic group. This is a 100% small animal role.

Rota:

The role involves consulting and operating in a friendly supportive environment. They strive to work up cases to a high standard and provide their clients with the best care.

Your shift pattern entails 40 hours across 4/5 days per week working between 8:30 am-6:30 pm, with 1:4 on Saturday mornings.


About them:

Their team consists of 2 full-time vets and 2 part-time vets supported by a fabulous team of fully qualified nurses. They also have 2 trainee nurses, a VCA and a reception team. You can be certain any new members of staff will be made very welcome and given support as they settle into their new role. The team is made up of many long-standing vets and nurses and the environment is very friendly and supportive.


Ideal Candidate:

Ideally, the candidate needs to be confident with routine surgical procedures and basic ultrasounds and also have excellent communication and people skills and enjoy the variety and diversity of small animal practice. They require the candidate to have experience in small animal practice and be able to work up cases to provide a high standard of care.

Salary:

Salary up to £75,000 DOE
