This purpose-built hospital is equipped with advanced facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, a full-body CT scanner, and an in-house laboratory. The site features spacious consulting rooms, two theatres, a large preparation area, and well-equipped learning and office spaces.
Located on the edge of the stunning Pennines, this 24-hour veterinary hospital is surrounded by picturesque countryside, charming stone-built villages, and wildlife-rich nature reserves. Role Highlights
- Full-time position, working four weekdays per week with a 1-in-6 weekend rota.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional clinical care to patients, including advanced surgeries such as TPLO/TTAs, spinals, and complex soft tissue procedures.
- Lead and mentor the veterinary and nursing teams to deliver outstanding service.
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager to optimise commercial performance.
- Drive clinical excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Share and implement best practices across the wider veterinary community.
Applicant Requirements
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- CertAVP in Surgery (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in advanced surgical techniques, including TPLO/TTAs, fracture repair, and complex soft tissue surgeries.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
