Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week), flexible options for 35+ hours considered. Includes 1:10 full weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and 1:5 Saturdays with time off in lieu.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join a dynamic team based at a state-of-the-art hospital in Dudley, with occasional cover at nearby branches. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident vet skilled in consultations, surgery, and dentistry, looking to grow within a supportive and well-equipped practice.
Highlights
Work-Life Balance: A dedicated night team handles all out-of-hours work, and appointments end at 6:30 pm on weekdays. Weekend work is shared on a rota basis, with time off in lieu the following week.
Facilities & Equipment: Benefit from advanced diagnostic tools, including CT, a fully equipped dental suite, and 12 operating theatres.
Career Development: Join a team of 16 vets, including 7 certificate holders and 6 vets currently pursuing certificates. Full support is provided for certificates in areas such as cardiology, dermatology, medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, and surgery (soft tissue and orthopaedics).
