Our client, a well-established small animal practice in Royston, Hertfordshire, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. Located in a purpose-built clinic with ample free parking, the practice is equipped with the latest technology, including in-house digital X-ray, haematology and biochemistry IDEXX analysers, and modern anaesthetic breathing systems. Out-of-hours emergency care is provided by the team, ensuring continuity for clients and patients.

About the Role

You’ll have the opportunity to deliver exceptional care to a diverse caseload. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 15-minute consultations to assess and treat a wide variety of patients.

  • Provide advice on preventative care and long-term health management.

  • Perform a range of surgical procedures, from routine to emergency cases, depending on your expertise.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold the highest standards of care.

  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals to provide outstanding service.

  • Participate in CPD training and practice-wide initiatives to develop your skills further.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, offering empathy and clear communication.
