Are you a dedicated, team-oriented Veterinary Surgeon looking for a dynamic opportunity in a supportive, state-of-the-art hospital environment? This role, based in Leicester offers a perfect balance of consulting and surgery, ideal for a skilled GP vet.

You’ll be part of a Tier 3 RCVS-accredited hospital that values both routine and first-opinion cases alongside advanced services such as referrals and out-of-hours care. This collaborative team environment includes case discussions and regular meetings, with full support for professional development and certificate studies tailored to your interests.

The hospital boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including:

  • In-house CT scanning.
  • Advanced dental suites with X-ray capabilities.
  • Video endoscopy, TPLO/TTA kits, and arthroscopy.
  • Dedicated ophthalmology equipment.
  • Cat-Friendly accreditation, with a Gold standard award for the hospital site.

The team is composed of experienced vets and nurses, including certificate holders in ophthalmology, orthopaedics, and emergency critical care, supported by a 24-hour nursing and vet team.

About the Role: 

Permanent, full-time and part-time applications welcomed (flexible working patterns can be discussed) 

Hours: 40 hours over 4-5 days with a 1:4 Saturday rota (8.30am-2pm and 1:15 Sunday (8am-7pm paid extra) no nights.

Salary From: Up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
