This practice offers a well-equipped clinical environment, featuring:

  • Digital x-ray and dental x-ray facilities.
  • In-house blood analysers and ultrasound services.
  • Access to advanced diagnostic tools at a nearby 24-hour hospital, including a CT scanner, endoscope, and laparoscopic kit.
  • Experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon with special interests in dentistry and orthopaedics, a Head RVN, and a Practice Manager.

The practice is also working towards ISFM Cat-Friendly Clinic accreditation, reflecting its commitment to exceptional patient care.

What We’re Looking For

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Proven experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures.
  • An ability to inspire and mentor colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients, including consultations and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring clarity around patient updates and care plans.
  • Collaborate closely with your team to enhance their skills and create a supportive workplace culture.
  • Uphold regulatory, practice, and operational compliance to maintain professional excellence.
  • Contribute to clinical handovers and manage patient transfers when necessary.
  • Share and implement best practices within the practice and the wider veterinary community.
Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE
