Lloyd & Cowan are excited to be working on an opportunity that has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in Truro, Cornwall.
This practice has grown significantly since its establishment and has recently refurbished to offer a modern environment with a fantastic reputation in the community, a loyal clientele and dedicated team.
About the Role: This role offers a well-structured working day with 15-minute consults as standard, and extended time for more complex cases. Each day, one vet is dedicated to operating, with their consults starting later in the afternoon. There's built in “run-over breaks” and emergency slots to make sure everyone can catch up and avoid stress.
With regular case discussions and clinical meetings, there is strong support for professional growth. Hours are flexible, and they're happy to work with you to find a balance that suits your home and work life. The role includes a shared 1 in 3 Saturday rota (routine appointments only, no surgeries).
About you:
A Veterinary Surgeon with solid GP experience
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality veterinary care
Willing to work within a supportive and collaborative environment
What's on Offer:
Salary up to £60,000 FTE (commensurate with experience)
5.6 weeks of annual leave (pro-rata for part-time)
