A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, well-equipped practice with a dedicated team in Gatley, Cheshire. 

The practice features excellent facilities, including digital x-ray, in-house blood machines, multiparameter monitoring for anaesthesia, and separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas. The clinic is accredited as a Silver Cat-Friendly practice and boasts a separate dental suite along with orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgical theatres. Recent refurbishments have provided the clinic with a bright, clean, and welcoming environment filled with natural light—a rare find in the veterinary field.

This is a full-time position offering 39 hours per week, worked over 4 days, promoting both career progression and a healthy work-life balance. The role also includes a fair share of weekend shifts.

Skills and Experience
  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Proven experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong clinical leadership and mentoring skills
  • Experience fostering a progressive clinical culture
  • Support for nurse consults and understanding of Schedule 3 procedures
  • Proficient in using coaching and influencing skills to enhance team performance
