Registered Veterinary Nurse – Exciting Opportunity in a Growing Practice

Are you an experienced and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for your next opportunity? A well-established and expanding veterinary practice is seeking a dedicated RVN to join their friendly and supportive team.

About the Practice

This multi-branch practice has built a strong reputation for providing excellent patient care while maintaining a welcoming and collaborative work environment. With state-of-the-art equipment, including ultrasound, digital and dental X-rays, in-house lab machines, and orthopaedic capabilities, the team is committed to delivering high standards of care across a variety of cases.

Exciting developments are on the horizon, with plans for a brand-new facility and a CT scanner, as well as a focus on becoming a cat-friendly practice. The team is also expanding their work with exotic patients, offering the opportunity to grow in this area if desired.

About the Role

As an RVN, you’ll play a key role in all aspects of nursing, including:

  • Nurse consultations
  • Theatre work
  • Schedule 3 procedures (if desired)
  • Building strong client relationships
  • Clinical coaching for Student Veterinary Nurses (or willingness to do so in the future)

This is a varied and rewarding role that encourages professional growth. Many of the current RVNs are undertaking further qualifications in medicine, anaesthesia, and surgical nursing, and the practice is fully supportive of nurses developing their areas of interest.

Working Pattern & Salary

  • Flexible hours available – full-time or part-time options
  • Shared Saturday rota, no Sundays or bank holidays
  • Salary up to £30,000 pro rata, depending on experience

Benefits Package

  • 6 weeks’ holiday, including bank holidays
  • £600 CPD allowance + training support
  • RCVS & VDS fees covered, plus an additional professional membership
  • Health Shield – contributions for medical, dental, and wellbeing treatments
  • Enhanced parental leave (maternity, paternity, adoption, etc.)
  • Discounted veterinary fees
  • Annual pay reviews & career progression opportunities
  • Employee perks & discounts (shopping, travel, entertainment, and more)
  • Company sick pay & wellbeing support

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a motivated and proactive RVN with a strong work ethic and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment, be eager to build client relationships, and be open to professional development. Experience as a clinical coach is desirable but not essential.
